You fill the electrolyzer to the fill line with tap water. Drop in one capsule of the salt and vinegar concentrate. Hit the button and watch it go. The liquid bubbles and froths for about ten minutes as the electrolysis process works its magic (it converts the solution into hypochlorous acid). When the base light turns green, it is done.
